वहाँ सप्तर्षिकुण्ड है। नरश्रेष्ठ महाराज! उन कुण्डोंमें तथा महात्मा कपिलके केदारतीर्थमें स्नान करनेसे पुरुषको महान् पुण्यकी प्राप्ति होती है। वह मनुष्य ब्रह्माजीके निकट जाकर उनका दर्शन करनेसे शुद्ध, पवित्रचित्त एवं सब पापोंसे रहित होकर ब्रह्मलोकमें जाता है। कपिलका केदार भी अत्यन्त दुर्लभ है। वहाँ जानेसे तपस्याद्वारा सब पाप नष्ट हो जानेके कारण मनुष्यको अन्तर्धानविद्याकी प्राप्ति हो जाती है ।। ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र सरकं॑ लोकविश्रुतम् । कृष्णपक्षे चतुर्दश्यामभिगम्य वृषध्वजम्
tato gacchet rājendra sarakaṁ lokaviśrutam | kṛṣṇapakṣe caturdaśyām abhigamya vṛṣadhvajam ||
Then, O best of kings, one should proceed to Saraka, renowned throughout the worlds. On the fourteenth day of the dark fortnight, approaching Vṛṣadhvaja (Śiva), one should seek his presence—implying a disciplined, time-bound pilgrimage that aligns sacred action with auspicious observance and devotion.
