Pulastya’s Instruction

गवां भवनमासाद्य तीर्थसेवी यथाक्रमम्‌ | तत्राभिषेकं कुर्वाणो गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्‌,तदनन्तर तीर्थसेवी क्रमश: गोभवनतीर्थमें जाकर वहाँ स्नान करे। इससे उसको सहस्र गोदानका फल मिलता है

gavāṁ bhavanam āsādya tīrthasevī yathākramam | tatrābhiṣekaṁ kurvāṇo gosahasraphalaṁ labhet |

A pilgrim who proceeds in due order to the sacred ford called ‘Gavāṁ Bhavanam’ and performs the prescribed bathing there is said to obtain the merit equal to the gift of a thousand cows. The passage frames pilgrimage as a disciplined, sequential practice in which reverent observance yields ethical and religious fruit comparable to great acts of charity.
