Transliteration
ekarātraṃ samāsādya ekarātroṣito naraḥ
Translation
Ghūlastya said: “Having reached (the place) for a single night, the man stayed there only for that one night.” The line underscores the transient, disciplined nature of the journey—rest is taken only as needed, without indulgence or delay, in keeping with the ethic of restraint and purposeful conduct.
