साहसख््रकं च तत्रैव द्वे तीर्थे लोकविश्रुते । उभयोर्हि नर: स्नात्वा गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्
sāhasrakhaṇḍaṃ ca tatraiva dve tīrthe lokaviśrute | ubhayor hi naraḥ snātvā gosahasraphalaṃ labhet ||
“There, too, are two sacred fords renowned throughout the world—(called) Sāhasrakhaṇḍa and another. A person who bathes at both of them gains the merit equivalent to gifting a thousand cows.”
