हि मय न घुक हि २ 7 - यद्यपि यहाँ पुलस्त्यजी भीष्मजीको यह प्रसंग सुना रहे हैं, तथापि इस संवादको नारदजीने युधिष्ठिरके समक्ष उपस्थित किया है; अतः नारदजी युधिष्ठिरको सम्बोधित करें, इसमें कोई अनुपपत्ति नहीं है। त्रय्शीतितमो< ध्याय: कुरुक्षेत्रकी सीमामें स्थित अनेक तीर्थोंकी महत्ताका वर्णन घुलस्त्य उवाच ततो गच्छेत राजेन्द्र कुरुक्षेत्रमभिष्टतम्‌ । पापेभ्यो यत्र मुच्यन्ते दर्शनात्‌ सर्वजन्तवः,पुलस्त्यजी कहते हैं--राजेन्द्र! तदनन्तर ऋषियोंद्वारा प्रशंसित कुरुक्षेत्रकी यात्रा करे, जिसके दर्शनमात्रसे सब जीव पापोंसे मुक्त हो जाते हैं

pulastya uvāca | tato gacchet rājendra kurukṣetram abhiṣṭatamam | pāpebhyo yatra mucyante darśanāt sarvajantavaḥ ||

Pulastya said: “Then, O best of kings, one should proceed to Kurukṣetra, the most cherished of sacred regions. For there, by the mere act of beholding it, all living beings are released from their sins.”
