Chapter 82

चर्मण्वतीं समासाद्य नियतो नियताशन: । रन्तिदेवा भ्यनुज्ञातमग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत्‌,इन्द्रियसंयम या शौच-संतोष आदिके पालनपूर्वक नियमित आहारका सेवन करते हुए चर्मण्वती (चंबल) नदीमें स्नान आदि करनेसे राजा रन्तिदेवद्वारा अनुमोदित अग्निष्टोमयज्ञका फल प्राप्त होता है

carmaṇvatīṁ samāsādya niyato niyatāśanaḥ | rantidevād abhyanujñātam agniṣṭoma-phalaṁ labhet ||

Having reached the Carmaṇvatī (Chambal) River, a disciplined person who eats in a regulated manner attains the merit of the Agniṣṭoma sacrifice—approved by King Rantideva—through bathing and observances there.
