Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
सा गत्वा त्रीनहोरात्रान् ददर्श परमाड़ना । तापसारण्यमतुलं दिव्यकाननशोभितम्,लगातार तीन दिन और तीन रात चलनेके पश्चात् उस श्रेष्ठ नारीने तपस्वियोंसे युक्त एक वन देखा, जो अनुपम तथा दिव्य वनसे सुशोभित था
sā gatvā trīn ahorātrān dadarśa paramāṅganā | tāpasāraṇyam atulaṁ divyakānanaśobhitam ||
After journeying for three days and three nights, that noble lady beheld an incomparable forest-hermitage inhabited by ascetics, beautified by a celestial woodland. The scene marks her passage from hardship and wandering into a space shaped by tapas (austere discipline), where moral clarity and refuge are traditionally sought.
