यत् त्वयोक्तं नरश्रेष्ठ तत् समक्ष महाद्ुते । स्मर्तुमहसि कल्याण वचन पार्थिवर्षभ,महातेजस्वी कल्याणमय राजाओंमें उत्तम नरश्रेष्ठ। आपने मेरे सामने जो बात कही थी, अपनी उस बातका स्मरण करना उचित है
bṛhadaśva uvāca | yat tvayoktaṃ naraśreṣṭha tat samakṣaṃ mahādyute | smartum arhasi kalyāṇa vacanaṃ pārthivarṣabha ||
Bṛhadaśva said: “O best of men, O great in splendor—what you spoke in my presence, O noble one, bull among kings, it is fitting that you now remember those words.”
