नारद: पर्वतश्नैव महाप्राज्ञौं महाव्रतौ । देवराजस्य भवनं विविशाते सुपूजिता,इसी समय देवर्षिप्रवर महान् व्रतधारी महाप्राज्ञ नारद और पर्वत दोनों महात्मा इधरसे घूमते हुए इन्द्रलोकमें गये। वहाँ उन्होंने देवराजके भवनमें प्रवेश किया। उस भवनमें उनका विशेष आदर-सत्कार एवं पूजन किया गया
bṛhadaśva uvāca | nāradaḥ parvataś caiva mahāprājñau mahāvratau | devarājasya bhavanaṃ viviśāte supūjitau ||
Bṛhadaśva said: The great sages Nārada and Parvata—both supremely wise and steadfast in their vows—wandered on and entered the palace of the king of the gods. There, in Indra’s abode, they were received with exceptional honor and duly worshipped. The episode underscores the ethical norm that true spiritual merit is acknowledged through reverent hospitality, even in celestial realms.
बृहदश्चव उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic conduct of honoring realized sages: genuine wisdom and disciplined vows merit respectful reception (satkāra), and proper hospitality is portrayed as an ethical duty upheld even by the gods.
Nārada and Parvata, described as highly wise and observant of great vows, arrive in Indra’s realm and enter Indra’s palace, where they are received with special honor and worship.
