देवपुत्रौ महाभागौ देवराजसमझ्ुती | नकुल: सहदेवश्न पाण्डवौ युद्धदुर्मदौ,'देवपुत्र महाभाग नकुल-सहदेव देवराज इन्द्रके समान तेजस्वी हैं। वे दोनों ही पाण्डव युद्धमें प्रचण्ड हैं
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | devaputrau mahābhāgau devarājasamadyutī | nakulaḥ sahadevaś ca pāṇḍavau yuddhadurmadau ||
Vaiśampāyana said: The two sons of the gods, greatly fortunate and radiant like Indra, lord of the gods—Nakula and Sahadeva—those Pāṇḍava brothers, were fierce and unrestrained in the fury of battle.
