Having heard the words of Dharmarāja (Yudhiṣṭhira), the assembled courtiers—beginning with Dhṛṣṭadyumna—listened to his statement and, with timely and gentle speech, quickly soothed Śrī Kṛṣṇa, who was filled with indignation. The scene underscores how measured counsel and courteous words can restrain righteous anger and preserve deliberation in matters of dharma.

Educational Q&A

Even justified indignation should be guided by dharma through timely, gentle counsel; courteous speech can restore calm and protect wise deliberation in ethical crises.

After Yudhiṣṭhira speaks, the assembly—led by Dhṛṣṭadyumna—responds with appropriate, sweet words and quickly pacifies Kṛṣṇa, who is burning with indignation.
