ततो<हं सुहृदां वाचो दुर्योधनवशानुग: । स्मरणीया: स्मरिष्यामि मया या न कृता: पुरा,“उस समय मैं दुर्योधनके वशमें होनेके कारण अपने हितैषी सुहृदोंकी उन याद रखनेयोग्य बातोंको याद करूँगा, जिनका पालन मैंने पहले नहीं किया”

tato 'haṃ suhṛdāṃ vāco duryodhanavaśānugaḥ | smaraṇīyāḥ smariṣyāmi mayā yā na kṛtāḥ purā ||

Then I—having been under Duryodhana’s sway—will now recall the words of my well-wishing friends, words worthy of remembrance, which I did not follow in earlier days. The line carries the moral weight of belated repentance: counsel ignored under wrongful influence must be retrieved before ruin becomes irreversible.
