Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
ततो्र्जुनस्त्वरमाणश्षित्रसेनमरिंदम: । सम्प्राप्पय रजनीवृत्तं तदुर्वश्या यथातथम्,तदनन्तर शत्रुदमन पाण्डुकुमार अर्जुन बड़ी उतावलीके साथ चित्रसेनके समीप गये तथा रातमें उर्वशीके साथ जो घटना जिस प्रकार घटित हुई, वह सब उन्होंने उस समय चित्रसेनको ज्यों-की-त्यों कह सुनायी। साथ ही उसके शाप देनेकी बात भी उन्होंने बार-बार दुहरायी
tato 'rjunaḥ tvaramāṇaś citrasenam arindamaḥ | samprāpya rajanīvṛttaṃ tad urvaśyā yathātatham || tad-anantaraṃ śatrudamanaḥ pāṇḍukumāra arjunaḥ tvarayā citrasenasya samīpaṃ gataḥ; rātrau urvaśyā saha yā yathā tathā vṛttāntaṃ sa tasmai yathāvat kathayām āsa; śāpadānaṃ ca punar punar abhyadhāt ||
Then Arjuna, the foe-subduer, hastened to Chitrasena. Having reached him, he related exactly as it had occurred the night’s episode involving Urvaśī—telling the whole matter faithfully, and repeatedly emphasizing that she had also pronounced a curse. The passage underscores Arjuna’s urgency to seek counsel and to respond to a moral-spiritual crisis through truthful disclosure rather than concealment.
