Mātali’s Arrival and Arjuna’s Ascent toward Amarāvatī (मातलिसंयुक्तरथागमनम् तथा इन्द्रलोकगमनारम्भः)

tatra saugandhikānāṁ ca puṣpāṇāṁ puṇyagandhinām | udvījyamāno miśreṇa vāyunā puṇyagandhinā ||

There, the holy fragrance of saugandhika lotuses and other sweet-scented flowers filled the air; mingled with that pure perfume, the breeze seemed to fan the place gently, as if waving a ceremonial whisk. The scene underscores how nature itself can become an auspicious setting, quietly supporting a righteous journey through purity, restraint, and reverence.
