यदा द्रक्ष्यसि भूतेशं तयक्षं शूलधरं शिवम्‌ | तदा दातास्मि ते तात दिव्यान्यस्त्राणि सर्वश:,“तात! जब तुम्हें तीन नेत्रोंसे विभूषित त्रिशूलधारी भूतनाथ भगवान्‌ शिवका दर्शन होगा, तब मैं तुम्हें सम्पूर्ण दिव्यास्त्र प्रदान करूँगा

yadā drakṣyasi bhūteśaṃ tryakṣaṃ śūladharaṃ śivam | tadā dātāsmi te tāta divyāny astrāṇi sarvaśaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: “When you behold Śiva—the Lord of beings, three-eyed and bearing the trident—then, dear child, I shall grant you all the celestial weapons in their entirety.”
