नकुलस्तु तथेत्युक्त्वा भ्रातुर्ज्येछ्सल्थ शासनात् । प्राद्रवद् यत्र पानीयं शीघ्रं चैवान्वपद्यत,नकुल “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर बड़े भाईकी आज्ञासे शीघ्रतापूर्वक गये और जहाँ जलाशय था, वहाँ तुरंत पहुँच गये
nakulas tu tathety uktvā bhrātur jyeṣṭhasya śāsanāt | prādravad yatra pānīyaṃ śīghraṃ caivānvapadyata ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Nakula, replying “So be it,” obeyed the command of his eldest brother. He hurried off at once to the place where water was to be found and quickly reached the water-source—showing prompt, disciplined compliance with elder authority in a moment of need.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
