कुन्त्युवाच गम्यतां भगवंस्तत्र यत एवागतो हासि । कौतूहलात्‌ समाहूत: प्रसीद भगवन्निति,कुन्ती बोली--भगवन्‌! आप जहाँसे आये हैं वहीं पधारिये। मैंने आपको कौतूहलवश ही बुलाया था। प्रभो! प्रसन्न होइये

kuntī uvāca—gamyatāṃ bhagavaṃs tatra yata evāgato hāsi | kautūhalāt samāhūtaḥ prasīda bhagavann iti ||

Kuntī said: “Venerable sir, please return to the very place from which you came. I summoned you only out of curiosity; be gracious and forgive me, O revered one.”
