Ajñātavāsa-saṅkalpaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Resolve and Dhaumya’s Exempla on Concealment

ख्यातास्त्वन्नामधेयाश्व॒ भविष्यन्तीह शाश्वृता: । पितुश्न ते पुत्रशतं भविता तव मातरि,“तेरे ही नामसे उनकी सदा ख्याति होगी अर्थात्‌ वे सावित्र नामसे प्रसिद्ध होंगे। तेरे पिताके भी तेरी माताके ही गर्भसे सौ पुत्र होंगे

khyātās tvannāmadheyāś ca bhaviṣyantīha śāśvatāḥ | pituś ca te putraśataṁ bhavitā tava mātari ||

Yama said: “Here in this world, those (sons) bearing your name will become renowned forever. Moreover, from your father, a hundred sons will be born in your mother’s womb.”
