Markandeya said: After reverently honoring that aerial chariot Puṣpaka, Rāghava—Raghu’s delight—gladly returned it to Vaiśravaṇa (Kubera). The episode highlights Rama’s restraint and righteousness: even after rightful use, he does not cling to a wondrous possession, but restores it to its proper owner with goodwill.

Even when one has access to extraordinary power or wealth, dharma requires honoring what is not truly one’s own. Rama models ethical kingship by worshipfully acknowledging the gift/vehicle and then returning it to its rightful owner, acting without greed and with goodwill.
Markandeya narrates that Rama, after using the celestial Puṣpaka-vimāna, performs due honor to it and then returns it to Kubera (Vaiśravaṇa), from whom it ultimately belongs, doing so happily and respectfully.
