Adhiratha-Rādhā Discover the Casket; Vasuṣeṇa (Karṇa) is Adopted and Formed
राजा दशरथश्चैव दिव्यभास्वरमूर्तिमान् | विमानेन महाहेंण हंसयुक्तेन भास्वता,इनके सिवा हंसोंसे युता एक बहुमूल्य तेजस्वी विमानद्वारा दिव्य प्रकाशमय स्वरूप धारण किये स्वयं राजा दशरथ भी वहाँ पधारे
rājā daśarathaś caiva divyabhāsvaramūrtimān | vimānena mahārheṇa haṃsayuktena bhāsvatā ||
Mārkaṇḍeya said: King Daśaratha too arrived there, assuming a radiant, divine form, borne upon a splendid and exceedingly precious aerial chariot, shining brightly and drawn by swans. The scene underscores the exalted status granted to righteous kings and the celestial honor that attends virtue and royal dharma.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
