Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

तेन सम्भाष्य पूर्व तौ सुग्रीवमभिजग्मतु: । सख्यं वानरराजेन चक्रे रामस्तदा नूप,उनके साथ पहले बातचीत हो जानेपर वे दोनों भाई सुग्रीवके पास गये। राजन्! उस समय श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने वानरराज सुग्रीवके साथ मैत्री की
Transliteration
tena sambhāṣya pūrvaṃ tau sugrīvam abhijagmatuḥ | sakhyaṃ vānararājena cakre rāmas tadā nṛpa ||
Translation
After first speaking with him, the two brothers went to Sugrīva. O king, at that time Rāma entered into a bond of friendship with Sugrīva, the lord of the monkeys—an alliance formed through counsel and mutual trust, setting a righteous course for accomplishing their shared purpose.
