मარკण्डेयागमनम् तथा सत्यव्रत-उपदेशः

Arrival of Mārkaṇḍeya and Counsel on Truth-Vows

यजुषाम्‌चां साम्नां च गद्यानां चैव सर्वश: । आसीदुच्चार्यमाणानां नि:स्वनो हृदयड्भम:,यजुर्वेद, ऋग्वेद और सामवेद तथा गद्य-भागके उच्चारणसे जो ध्वनि होती थी, वह हृदयको प्रिय जान पड़ती थी

yajuṣāṁ ca sāmnāṁ ca gadyānāṁ caiva sarvaśaḥ | āsīd uccāryamāṇānāṁ niḥsvano hṛdayaṅgamaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: From the recitation of the Yajus and the Sāman hymns, and from the prose passages as well, there arose a resonant sound—one that, in every way, felt pleasing and deeply moving to the heart.
