Vaiśampāyana said: “Kṛṣṇā, do not be consumed by longing; do not grieve; do not keep vigil through the nights. The sovereignty of this earth—won by your husbands, radiant like the gods—will surely come to you.”

Educational Q&A

The verse counsels emotional steadiness: do not let anxiety and sleepless grief consume you; maintain patience and trust that rightful outcomes—here, the recovery of sovereignty—will arrive through dharmic perseverance.

The narrator reports a consoling address to Draupadī (Kṛṣṇā), urging her to stop worrying and losing sleep about the kingdom; she is assured that the earth’s rule, won by her godlike husbands, will surely be obtained.
