Vaiśampāyana said: “They all live there with great joy, as though Abhimanyu himself were among them; their hearts are deeply attached to Dvāravatī. And Subhadrā, like you, stands by them with wholehearted affection, treating them with loving regard in every way.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic kinship: true support is shown through steady, wholehearted affection (sarvātmanā prītyā). Social and familial harmony is sustained not merely by duty, but by sincere love expressed in conduct.
Vaiśampāyana describes the situation in Dvāravatī: the people there live happily and feel deeply at home, and Subhadrā remains devoted to them, treating them with complete affection—likened to the warmth one would feel in Abhimanyu’s presence and compared to the listener’s own loving nature.
