Vaiśampāyana said: “And when the maidservant has been sent on an errand, you should rise yourself and do all the needed work on your own. Let Kṛṣṇa come to know this disposition of yours—that Satyabhāmā serves me with her whole heart, truly, truly.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes that genuine devotion is shown through personal, wholehearted service and initiative—doing necessary duties oneself rather than delegating—so that one’s inner attitude (bhāva) becomes evident.
Vaiśampāyana narrates advice directed to Satyabhāmā: when a maid is sent away, she should herself rise and complete the household tasks, so that Kṛṣṇa recognizes her sincere, wholehearted spirit of service.
