चित्रसेन-समागमः / The Engagement with Citrasena and the Gandharvas
अहं पतीन् नातिशये नात्यश्रे नातिभूषये | नापि श्रश्रृं परिवदे सर्वदा परियन्त्रिता,“पतियोंके शयन करनेसे पहले मैं कभी शयन नहीं करती, उनसे पहले भोजन नहीं करती, उनकी इच्छाके विरुद्ध कोई आभूषण नहीं पहनती, अपनी सासकी कभी निन्दा नहीं करती और अपने-आपको सदा नियमन्त्रणमें रखती हूँ
ahaṁ patīn nātiśaye nātyaśre nātibhūṣaye | nāpi śvaśrūṁ parivade sadā pariyantritā ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “I do not overstep my husbands, nor do I act with excessive pride; I do not adorn myself against their wishes. I never speak ill of my mother-in-law, and I keep myself always under discipline and restraint.”
