चित्रसेन-समागमः / The Engagement with Citrasena and the Gandharvas

सर्वथा भर्तरहितं न ममेष्टं कथंचन । यदा प्रवसते भर्ता कुट॒म्बार्थेन केनचित्‌

Transliteration

sarvathā bhartar-ahitaṃ na mama iṣṭaṃ kathaṃcana | yadā pravasate bhartā kuṭumbārthena kenacit ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “In no way is it ever agreeable to me to be without my husband. Whenever my husband must go away on some errand for the sake of the household, the state of being separated from him is not something I can accept.”
