नार्य: कालेन सम्भूय किमद्धभततरं ततः । 'स्त्रियाँ अपने उदरमें दस महीनेतक जो गर्भ धारण करती हैं और यथासमय उसको जन्म देती हैं, इससे अद्भुत कार्य और कौन होगा?

nāryaḥ kālena sambhūya kim adbhutataraṃ tataḥ |

Vaiśampāyana said: “Women, in due course of time, conceive and bring forth life at the proper moment—what deed could be more wondrous than this?”
