तेषु क्रोधाग्निदग्धेषु तदा भरतसत्तम,भरतश्रेष्ठी] जब सभी राजकुमार धुन्धुकी क्रोधाग्निसे दग्ध हो गये, तब महातेजस्वी राजा कुवलाश्वने दूसरे कुम्भकर्णके- समान जगे हुए उस महाकाय दानवपर आक्रमण किया

Transliteration

teṣu krodhāgnidagdheṣu tadā bharatasattama

Translation

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “When those princes had been consumed by the fire of wrath, O best of the Bharatas, the mighty King Kuvalāśva then launched his assault upon that colossal demon—awake like a second Kumbhakarṇa.”
