Dharma-vyādha’s Analysis of Moral Decline and the Mahābhūta–Guṇa Schema (धर्मव्याधोपदेशः)

सुवर्णस्य विशुद्धस्य सुवर्ण य: प्रयच्छति

suvarṇasya viśuddhasya suvarṇaḥ yaḥ prayacchati

Mārkaṇḍeya said: “Whoever gives gold—gold that is pure and refined—(performs a meritorious act).” The statement underscores the ethical value of charitable giving, especially when the gift is of high quality and offered without deceit or impurity.
