पत्यौ स्त्री तु तदा राजन् पुरुषो वा स्त्रियं प्रति । युगान्ते राजशार्दूल न तोषमुपयास्यति,नृपश्रेष्ठ! युगान्तकाल आनेपर स्त्री अपने पतिसे और पति अपनी स्त्रीसे संतुष्ट नहीं होंगे
patyau strī tu tadā rājan puruṣo vā striyaṃ prati | yugānte rājaśārdūla na toṣam upayāsyati, nṛpaśreṣṭha |
Mārkaṇḍeya said: “O King, at that time, a wife toward her husband—and likewise a husband toward his wife—will not attain contentment. O tiger among kings, O best of rulers, when the end of the age draws near, mutual satisfaction within marriage will decline.”
