Indradyumna Upākhyāna: On Kīrti, Smṛti, and Restoration
स्वैराचाराश्न पुरुषा योषितश्न विशाम्पते । अन्योन्यं न सहिष्यन्ति युगान्ते पर्युपस्थिते,महाराज! युगान्तकाल आनेपर पुरुष और स्त्रियाँ स्वेच्छाचारी होकर एक-दूसरेके कार्य और विचारको नहीं सहेंगे
svairācārāś ca puruṣā yoṣitaś ca viśāmpate | anyonyaṁ na sahiṣyanti yugānte paryupasthite, mahārāja |
Mārkaṇḍeya said: “O lord of the people, when the end of the age draws near, men and women will become self-willed in conduct; and, O great king, they will no longer tolerate one another—neither each other’s actions nor their ways of thinking.”
