vaiśampāyana uvāca | evam uktās tu te pārthā yamau ca puruṣarṣabhau | draupadyā sahitāḥ sarve namaś cakrur janārdanam ||
Vaiśampāyana said: When this had been spoken, all those Pāṇḍava princes—together with the twin brothers, the best of men—rose with Draupadī and bowed in reverence to Janārdana (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). The scene underscores their humility and gratitude: even amid hardship, they reaffirm dharma through respectful devotion to the divine guide.
The verse highlights dharmic humility: after receiving counsel, the Pāṇḍavas respond not with pride but with reverent gratitude, acknowledging Kṛṣṇa (Janārdana) as a moral and spiritual refuge.
After a statement has been made (in context, following a sage’s words), Yudhiṣṭhira and his brothers—explicitly including the twins Nakula and Sahadeva—stand up with Draupadī and offer obeisance to Kṛṣṇa.
