The Deity said: “I understood that you were overwhelmed; therefore I showed you the world again. O best of Brahmins, when you had entered within my body and, on beholding everything, were struck with astonishment and could not regain composure, I immediately brought you out through my mouth.”

Educational Q&A

Divine power is not displayed to overwhelm but to guide; when a seeker is shaken by an extraordinary revelation, the Deity responds with compassion—restoring steadiness and protecting the mind from being crushed by awe.

A Brahmin-sage has witnessed a terrifying, all-encompassing vision of the cosmos within the Deity and becomes disoriented. The Deity recognizes his distress, shows the world again in a reassuring way, and says that when the sage had entered the Deity’s body and could not recover from astonishment, the Deity promptly brought him back out through the mouth.
