महद्धयेतदचिन्त्यं च यदहं दृष्टवान्‌ प्रभो । इत्युक्त: स मया श्रीमान्‌ देवदेवो महाद्युति: । सान्त्वयन्‌ मामिदं वाक्यमुवाच वदतां वर:,'प्रभो! मैंने जो कुछ देखा है, यह अगाध और अचिन्त्य है।” मेरे इस प्रकार पूछनेपर वे वक्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ महातेजस्वी देवाधिदेव श्रीभगवान्‌ मुझे सान्त्वना देते हुए इस प्रकार बोले

Transliteration

mahadd hy etad acintyaṃ ca yad ahaṃ dṛṣṭavān prabho | ity uktaḥ sa mayā śrīmān devadevo mahādyutiḥ | sāntvayan mām idaṃ vākyam uvāca vadatāṃ varaḥ |

Translation

“O Lord, what I have seen is vast and beyond thought.” When I spoke thus, that illustrious God of gods, radiant with great splendor, consoled me and replied with these words—the foremost among speakers.
