Kāmyaka Forest Meeting: Kṛṣṇa’s Visit; Mārkaṇḍeya and Nārada Arrive
शशंस तस्मै पाञज्चाली चिरयातं वृकोदरम् | स प्रतस्थे महाबाहुर्धाम्पेन सहितो नृप:,द्रौपदीने उत्तर दिया--'उनको यहाँसे गये बहुत देर हो गयी“--यह सुनकर महाबाहु महाराज युधिष्छिर महर्षि धौम्यके साथ उनकी खोजके लिये चल दिये
śaśaṃsa tasmai pāñcālī cirayātaṃ vṛkodaram | sa pratasthe mahābāhur dhaumyena sahito nṛpaḥ |
Vaiśampāyana said: Draupadī (the Pāñcālī princess) informed him that Vṛkodara (Bhīma) had gone away long ago. Hearing this, the mighty-armed king Yudhiṣṭhira set out, accompanied by the sage Dhaumya, to search for him—showing a ruler’s duty of care and responsibility toward his kin and companions.
