यस्तु ते व्याह्वतान्‌ प्रश्नान्‌ प्रतिब्रूयाद्‌ विभागवित्‌। स त्वां मोक्षयिता शापादिति मामब्रवीदृषि:,“महर्षिने मुझसे कहा था कि “जो तुम्हारे पूछे हुए प्रश्नोंका विभागपूर्वक उत्तर दे दे, वही तुम्हें शापसे छुड़ा सकता है

yas tu te vyāhṛtān praśnān pratibrūyād vibhāgavit | sa tvāṁ mokṣayitā śāpād iti mām abravīd ṛṣiḥ ||

Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “The sage told me, ‘Whoever answers the questions you have posed—doing so with clear discrimination and proper division—will be the one to release you from the curse.’”
