निवातकवचवधः — Arjuna’s Neutralization of the Nivātakavacas

ततोअतुष्यत्‌ सहस्राक्षस्तेन कामेन मे विभु: । एवं मे वसतो राजन्नेष कालोत्यगाद्‌ दिवि,अस्त्रविद्याकी ओर मेरी ऐसी अभिरुचि होनेसे सहसनेत्रधारी भगवान्‌ इन्द्र मुझपर बहुत संतुष्ट रहते थे। राजन! इस प्रकार स्वर्गमें रहकर मेरा यह समय सुखपूर्वक बीतने लगा

Transliteration

tato ’tuṣyat sahasrākṣas tena kāmena me vibhuḥ | evaṃ me vasato rājann eṣa kālo ’tyagād divi ||

Translation

Then the mighty Thousand-eyed Indra was greatly pleased with me because of that earnest desire of mine (for the knowledge of celestial weapons). O King, as I lived in heaven in this manner, my time there passed on pleasantly and without hardship.
