saṃsiddhyasva mahābāho kuru kāryam anantaram | paśya puṇyakṛtāṃl lokān saśarīro divaṃ vraja ||
Arjuna said: “O mighty-armed one, go and fulfill your purpose by meeting them; then, without delay, accomplish what must be done. Ascend to heaven in this very body and behold the worlds attained by the doers of merit.”

The verse emphasizes prompt fulfillment of one’s duty (kārya) and points to the ethical logic of karma: meritorious action (puṇya) leads to higher realms, which are worthy of contemplation as a moral incentive and as confirmation of dharma’s fruits.
Arjuna addresses a heroic figure as “mahābāhu,” urging him to meet certain persons to become fulfilled, then to proceed immediately to the next required task, and finally to ascend to heaven in the same body to witness the realms attained by the virtuous.
