प्राहिणोद् भीमसेनाय वेगेन महता नदन् । उधर मणिमानने भी सिंहनाद करते हुए एक चमचमाता हुआ महान त्रिशूल हाथमें लिया और बड़े वेगसे भीमसेनपर चलाया
Transliteration
vaiśampāyana uvāca | prāhiṇod bhīmasenāya vegena mahatā nadan |
Translation
Vaiśampāyana said: Roaring loudly and gathering tremendous speed, he hurled it toward Bhīmasena. The scene conveys the surge of violent intent—weapon and war-cry used to intimidate and overpower—set against the Mahābhārata’s larger ethical tension: strength and fury, when ungoverned by dharma, become instruments of reckless harm rather than righteous protection.
