Rājarṣi-samāgamaḥ — Yudhiṣṭhirasya Dharma-parīkṣā ca

Meeting the Royal Sage and a Dharmic Audit

Vaiśampāyana said: “It is clear to me that Bhīma has gone far away from here—this is my firm conviction. Much time has passed since he left, and in speed he is like the wind.”

Educational Q&A

The verse highlights reasoned inference based on observable signs: the speaker concludes Bhīma has gone far because a long time has passed and Bhīma is renowned for wind-like speed—emphasizing clear judgment grounded in known qualities.

Vaiśampāyana reports an assessment about Bhīma’s whereabouts: Bhīma has likely traveled a great distance already, since he departed long ago and is exceptionally swift.
