प्रचलन्ति न वै धर्मात् तपोदानपरायणा: । स्वधर्मस्था: क्रियावन्तो नरास्त्रेतायुगे5डभवन्,त्रेतायुगके मनुष्य तप और दानमें तत्पर रहकर अपने धर्मसे कभी विचलित नहीं होते थे। सभी स्वधर्मपरायण तथा क्रियावान् थे
pracalanti na vai dharmāt tapodānaparāyaṇāḥ | svadharmasthāḥ kriyāvanto narās tretāyuge 'bhavan ||
Bhīma said: In the Tretā Yuga, people devoted to austerity and charity did not stray from dharma. They remained established in their own rightful duties and were active in performing the prescribed works—steadfast, disciplined, and ethically grounded.
