भीम उवाच निर्गुण: परमात्मा तु देहं व्याप्यावतिष्ठते । तमहं ज्ञानविज्ञेयं नावमन्ये न लड्घये,भीमसेनने कहा--निर्गुण परमात्मा समस्त प्राणियोंके शरीरमें व्याप्त होकर स्थित हैं। वे ज्ञानसे ही जाननेमें आते हैं। मैं उनका अपमान या उल्लंघन नहीं करूँगा
bhīma uvāca — nirguṇaḥ paramātmā tu dehaṁ vyāpyāvatiṣṭhate | tam ahaṁ jñāna-vijñeyaṁ nāvamanye na laṅghaye ||
Bhima said: “The attributeless Supreme Self pervades the body and abides within it. He is to be known through true knowledge; therefore I will neither dishonor Him nor transgress against Him.”
भीम उवाच
The Supreme Self is nirguṇa (beyond material attributes) and pervades all embodied beings; recognizing this through true knowledge leads to ethical restraint—one should not insult or violate what is sacredly present within all.
Bhima articulates a principled stance: because the Paramatman abides within bodies and is knowable through spiritual knowledge, he vows not to show contempt or commit transgression—framing his conduct in terms of reverence for the indwelling Self.
