शिवा देवी महाभागा सर्वसस्यप्ररोहिणी । कस्य चैव प्रभावाद्धि योजनानां शतं गता,सम्पूर्ण शस्योंका उत्पादन करनेवाली यह कल्याणमयी महाभागा वसुधादेवी किसके प्रभावसे सैकड़ों योजन नीचे धँस गयी थी

Transliteration

śivā devī mahābhāgā sarvasasyaprarohiṇī | kasya caiva prabhāvāddhi yojanānāṃ śataṃ gatā ||

Translation

Yudhiṣṭhira said: “This auspicious, greatly fortunate Goddess Earth—she who causes all crops to sprout—by whose power did she sink down a full hundred yojanas?”
