अयं देवनिवासो वै गन्तव्यो वो भविष्यति । ऋषीणां चैव दिव्यानां निवास: पुण्यकर्मणाम्,पाण्डवो! यह मार्ग दिव्य मन्दराचलकी ओर जायगा। अब तुम सब लोग उद्धेगशून्य और एकाग्रचित्त हो जाओ। यह देवताओंका निवासस्थान है, जिसपर तुम्हें चलना होगा। यहाँ पुण्यकर्म करनेवाले दिव्य ऋषियोंका भी निवास है
ayaṃ devanivāso vai gantavyo vo bhaviṣyati | ṛṣīṇāṃ caiva divyānāṃ nivāsaḥ puṇyakarmaṇām ||
“This indeed is the dwelling-place of the gods; it is a path you must go upon. It is also the abode of divine seers—those whose lives are shaped by meritorious deeds.” The speaker urges the Pāṇḍavas toward a sacred, disciplined journey, framing the route not merely as geography but as an ethically charged passage through a realm sanctified by tapas and virtue.
