Yudhiṣṭhira said: “O Bhīma, return from here, accompanied by all of them—by the chariots and horses, and by those other brāhmaṇas who cannot endure the hardships of the road. Do not press onward with a party that would suffer; let care for the vulnerable guide our course.”

Educational Q&A

A leader should act with dharma by considering the limits and welfare of companions—especially those unable to endure hardship—rather than pursuing a goal at the cost of others’ suffering.

Yudhiṣṭhira instructs Bhīma to turn back from that point, taking along the chariots, horses, and the brāhmaṇas who cannot bear the rigors of travel, indicating a decision to prevent unnecessary strain on the group.
