Vaiśampāyana said: The mighty heroes, the beloved sons of the Kuru line, set out on foot. All the Pāṇḍavas, together with Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī), proceeded slowly from that place, filled with joy and eagerness to see Dhanañjaya (Arjuna). Their restrained pace reflects purposeful resolve rather than haste, as their minds are fixed on reunion and the larger dharmic aim that depends upon Arjuna’s return.
