Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “Approach and unite, as is proper and just, with King Duryodhana. O lord of men, this is the world of heaven; here, former enmities and hostilities do not persist.”
वैशग्पायन उवाच
In the heavenly realm, one is expected to relinquish past grudges and relate to others according to nyāya (justice and propriety). The verse frames reconciliation not as forgetting dharma, but as transcending worldly hostility once its karmic consequences have been borne.
A directive is given to a king (manujādhipa) to meet and unite with Duryodhana in Svargaloka. The speaker emphasizes that heaven is a domain where earlier rivalries from earthly life do not continue.
