गान्धारी-प्रशमनम् — Pacification of Gāndhārī and Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel at Hāstinapura

धृष्टद्युम्न: शिखण्डी च द्रौपदेयाश्न सर्वश: । सर्वे चान्ये महेष्वासा: प्रययु: शिबिराण्युत,प्रजानाथ! हमारे शिबिरकी ओर जाते हुए पाण्डवोंके पीछे-पीछे महाधनुर्धर युयुत्सु, सात्यकि, धृष्टद्युम्न, शिखण्डी, द्रौपदीके सभी पुत्र तथा अन्य सब धनुर्धर योद्धा भी उन शिबिरोंमें गये

sañjaya uvāca |

dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ śikhaṇḍī ca draupadeyāś ca sarvaśaḥ |

sarve cānye maheṣvāsāḥ prayayuḥ śibirāṇy uta prajānātha ||

Sañjaya said: Dhṛṣṭadyumna and Śikhaṇḍī, along with all the sons of Draupadī, and the other great bowmen as well, followed behind the Pāṇḍavas as they proceeded toward their encampments, O lord of men. The verse underscores the disciplined regrouping of allies after battle—warriors moving in ordered solidarity, bound by loyalty and shared duty rather than personal glory.
