दत्त्वा चैव बहून्‌ दायान्‌ विप्राणां विप्रवत्सल: । धर्मात्मा विप्रवत्सल हलधर बलरामजीने उस तीर्थमें स्नान करके ब्राह्मणोंको बहुत धनका दान किया

dattvā caiva bahūn dāyān viprāṇāṁ vipravatsalaḥ | dharmātmā vipravatsalaḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Affectionate toward the brāhmaṇas and devoted to dharma, he bestowed abundant gifts upon the brāhmaṇas. The act highlights the ethic of honoring sacred learning and sustaining the custodians of ritual and moral order through generous giving, especially after acts like pilgrimage and bathing at a tīrtha.
